Erfahrungsfeld Schön & Gut
Everyone is welcome to the ‘Schön & Gut’ project site. The green municipal park on Siegen’s Fischbacherberg, which has been evolving since 2009, is a project initiated by the non-profit Hoppmann foundation ‘Demokratie im Alltag’. The aim is to create a space in which young people can, for example, gain experience in skilled crafts and trades in order to prepare for a suitable line of work in the future.

The nature-based social project focusing on arts and crafts has given rise to an attractive park in which regular events, vestiges of its military past (including bunkers and firing ranges), playgrounds and barbecue areas provide attractive and popular places to gather and unwind in the heart of the city.
