It connects the two popular recreational areas of Siegen over a distance of 14.7 km and offers unique views of Siegen and its mountains. The varied natural landscape is particularly charming, ranging from dense old trees to open heathland that turns purple in late summer.

A particular highlight are the varied views of diverse landscapes, from the mighty hills of the Rothaar ridge to magnificent valley views of Birlenbach and Langenholdinghausen, to views of special witnesses to the region's industrial history, such as the steelworks in the city area.   

Tip:

In late summer, the heathland is in full bloom, lending the area a particularly charming purple hue.
