„Sunday Afternoon at 4“ in the Castle Gardens 2026

On May 10th, the popular concert series „Sundy Afternoon at 4“ kicks off in the marquee arena of the Castle Gardens. The programme once again features a colourful mix of rock, pop, swing, jazz and more.

The line-up includes regional music groups such as „Sophie and the Boys“ with genuine rock and pop classics, the Siegen University Big Band, and the singer-songwriter duo „Immis von der Sieg“ from Niederschelden.

The Siegen Wind Orchestra will turn the finale in September 6th into a huge birthday party: the ensemble will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026 and take music fans on an entertaining journey through time, from traditional wind music pieces to modern arrangements.

Thanks to the large marquees, nothing will stand in the way of the musical experience, even in blazing sunshine or bad weather. Programmes for the series are available annually at town halls and at many locations in the city centre. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
