The start and finish was the DAV climbing centre on the Effertsufer. From there, the route leaded up to the seven Siegen mountains: Fischbacherberg, Wellersberg, Giersberg, Lindenberg, Siegberg, Häusling and Rosterberg. Numerous refreshment points along the routes provided cool refreshments. After the competition, the after-run party started at the finish with a stage programme and delicious refreshments.
