The central instrument of cooperation is the city centre alliance, which enables and promotes the exchange of all stakeholders. In addition, the Future Consultation Hour and open discussions with interested parties provide the opportunity for open exchange.

City centre alliance

The inner-city alliance is a central network element. It has been taking place regularly since August 2023 and brings together actors from the trade, gastronomy, university, culture, city administration and property owners at one table. Together measures for the revitalization of Siegen's inner city will be discussed and concrete projects will be derived and planned. The implementation will be partly through the city marketing alone or in cooperation with the city centre actors. The constructive exchange in this round shows the great interest and will of the actors for joint action.

Future Consultation Hour

The Future Consultation Hour, which takes place at regular intervals, allows for a personal exchange of ideas with citizens and other interested parties. It invites all winners to actively contribute ideas and concerns.

Official exchange in the City-Galerie

In mid-November 2023, colleagues from the centre management invited citizens to talk in the City Gallery. The feedback on site was very positive and varied. The focus was on questions such as: What can contribute to people staying in the city centre? What concerns do families, students or elderly people have in particular? All the collected ideas were fed into a workshop of the centre management, which took place in January 2024, during which further action ideas were concreted.
