Bim Käs: Cult inn located by the Schwanenteich

For more than half a century, the Käs has been a favourite venue for anyone who enjoys spending a cosy evening with friends or family, eating, listening to good music and simply loving the company.

The roots of the popular pub/restaurant by the Schwanenteich in the Geisweider Wenscht district stretch back to the 1960s, when it was an after-work destination for steelworkers.

As the name "Käs" suggests, the mixed cheese platters are perennially popular, as are specialities from Europe’s cheese-making nations and cheese-based starters. Aside from these choices, the menu offers everything from salads to pizzas. Live musical acts, booked to perform on the small, specially built stage, are a breath of fresh air. Otherwise, oldies from the 60s and 70s deliver just the right musical backdrop for this rustic venue.
